At Clay Hill Farms we are excited to offer nearly 200 acres of prime hunting land for your enjoyment. Our land is the picture perfect place for deer to live and develop. On average you are able to see over sixtey deer in any green field on our land. This land has been cultivated for over 25 years and for the first time ever it is now open to the public. We must stress to you that this is no ordinary land it is the pride of Butler County and has been sought after hunting ground for years. Our land offers hunting in over seventy acres of green fields and lush pines with hardwood bottoms.
Our trips are designed for up to four hunters, hunting begins on Thursday afternoon going through Sunday noon or Friday morning going through Sunday evening. Each hunter is allowed three deer in any combination of bucks and does, bucks being eight point or better and any buck followed has to be greater than the last. Reservations are for weekends only, we do not hunt during the week.
All hunters are required to sign a basic rules and release form upon arrival. We do have strick guidlines that must be followed in order to maintain the longevity of our deer and ensure that we are able to produce big body deer for years to come. All bucks must be eight points or better with a minimal fifteen inch spread, we do not allow any does to be harvested in the green fields and if done is punishable by a $200 fine. Bucks not meeting the minimum requirements are punishable by a $450 fine and any deer weighing less than sixty pounds is punishable by a $200 fine.
The cost of the hunt varies depending on the number of hunters. Your total fee includes three days of hunting, evening meals, and lodging which is provided by Clay Hill Farms. Additional costs that you can expect are hunters license and processing if applicable.
